Digital Maps

Map Connection distributes a number of different mapping programs, and a series of digital topographic maps. These software packages can be viewed in more detail below.

Etopo Digital Maps

All Etopo maps are 150 DPI, raster images for use with an external software package like Memory Map, OziExplorer or Fugawi. All CD-Roms come pre-calibrated for use with Memory Map, Fugawi, and OziExplorer.

Memory Map

Plan walks, build mountain bike trails, print maps, plot your position on-road, off-road, or in the city... it's all now possible with Memory Map. On a PC or Pocket PC see real colour maps that look exactly the same as the paper originals. Connect a Garmin or Magellan GPS to see your current position on screen or use it at home to plan your routes, save waypoints to a GPS, print your own maps and even keep your own digital journal.

OziExplorer Moving Map Software

OziExplorer is interactive, raster image, trip planning and moving map software which allows the user to add Waypoints, Routes and Tracks to the Map by simple point and click and then download these to a GPS.
